Scanfile - a trusted solution

Scanfile was introduced in 1999 following on from Spielberg solutions success with microfische technology. With the release of new document scanner technology a solution was required for the scanning and archiving of files in a simple yet compliant way. 

10 or more years on and Scanfile has been updated to version 8 and is used world-wide from business large and small to government departments, hospitals, military and local councils. 

As the name suggest, Scanfile allows you to easily scan and file your everyday business documents. If you have tried scanning already you will know that it can be quite  time consuming as you have to save each letter or statement separately in your chosen folders. Scanfile works by saving the scanned images into a directory and the "indexing" information into a database. This allows you to then find your documents using search criteria. For example, if I want to find an invoice from British Gas from 2004 I can search for British Gas as a supplier and put a date of 2004. All invoices in meeting this criteria are shown within a second.

One of the key attractions to Scanfile is the ability to start small. There is an upgrade path from Scanfile Small Business Edition (£495) right the way up to a multiple users of Scanfile and then onto FileDirector, Scanfile more nubile younger sister!
